Our Vision: A collaborative place for Jr. High Leaders to post content helpful for Jr. High Ministry.
Why Pivot? Jr. High is the time of life when "big decisions" (as Bob Ross says) are made. It is a "pivotal" time in everyone's life and Jesus needs to be a part of it. It is my contention that 7th and 8th grade are the time in church that we need to stop babysitting our kids and start teaching them what God's Word says. They know all the stories (David and Goliath, loaves and fish, etc.) but need to meet God. I envision Pivot to be a resource to make that happen.
What are we working on?
Mark is currently teaching through the book of 2 Chronicles with his Jr. Highers. He is currently putting his curriculum in the 2 Chronicles area.
Also we are working on Theology Lessons. We need a better title. (God 101 , Truth 101 , ???) I don't like 101. Any other idea's?
